Project Background
The Malaysian customer is a coil service center focused on stainless steel, CR and GI coils. Their old CTL line struggled with strip shape and edge quality on high-strength stainless and thin-gauge GI, so many jobs had to be outsourced for edge trimming, increasing cost and lead time.

Key Configuration & Parameters
We supplied a 0.3–3.0 mm × 1850 mm precision line equipped with a 6-high leveler, twin-shaft flying shear and online edge trimming. The line is designed for stainless, CR and GI processing, with improved strip shape control and integrated trimming in one pass.

Customer Benefits & Feedback
After commissioning, flatness and edge quality across the full width improved significantly. Many orders that previously needed subcontract edge trimming can now be completed in-house, reducing cost per ton and improving schedule control. The customer is “very satisfied” with the strong line design and shape performance.
